  4. 1990 ~ 1999 Expanding into the Global Market

    In 1964, Taihan started exporting electric wires and cables for the first time
    in Korea and continuously knocked on the door of overseas markets and
    achieved results in Southeast Asia and the Middle East.
    However, Taihan did not stop there, but pioneered advanced markets such as the United States,
    Australia, and Japan and enhanced national competitive edge
    as well as laid a foothold to grow into a global company.

  5. 1980 ~ 1989 Building a Foundation for Growth

    In the 1980s, under the slogan of “The Second Startup,”
    Taihan laid the foundation for growth by building facilities for manufacturing cables
    For electric power and communication and cable materials, etc. in the Anyang plant.
    In particular, Taihan focused its company-wide capabilities on strengthening
    technology and expertise by introducing extra-high voltage cable
    production facilities and launching a technology research center, etc.

    The history of Taihan began with Chosun Electric Wire,
    the first electric wire company in Korea established in 1941.
    Inheriting the legacy of Chosun Electric Wire,
    which lit the first light in the history of Korean electric wire industry,
    Taihan laid the foundation for industrial development as a pioneer
    in the electric wire industry and introduced Korean electric wire products
    to the global market for the first time.
